Show HOSPITAL BOARD MAMES COMMITTEE ON SCHOLARSHIPS A committee to administer the scholarship program for the Beaver County Hospital was named at the regular meeting this week, and Mrs. Joan Holland was requested to visit the schools and explain details of the program to all interested students. The hospital each year offers of-fers a full-tuition scholarship scholar-ship to a graduating senior, who wishes to enter the nursing field. Named to the scholarship committee were Mrs. Jacqueline Jacque-line Williams, hospital superintendent; super-intendent; Dr. D. A. Symond, Jesse Long, Lee Pettey, and an additional member will be selected by the above group. It was announced that a new English nurse is expected to report for duty at the hospital hos-pital in September. Other business of the meeting meet-ing was routine, with the exception ex-ception of authorizing purchase pur-chase of new instruments for the hospital, which have been approved by Dr. Davie and Dr. Symond. |
