Show THIS AND THAT . . . WITH PAT a Mrs. Sallie Merryweather and two daughters of Bountiful were week end visitors at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar C. Edwards and Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Merryweather. 9 Larry Edwards, son of Bishop Bish-op and Mrs. Edgar C. Edwards, who is employed by International Interna-tional Business Machines in Cgden, has been promoted to assistant engineer. O The Rebekahs met Wednesday, Wednes-day, Feb. 6, for their regular meeting, with Nora Wright, noble grand, presiding. Mrs. Neva Kinross and Mrs. Emma Griffiths were the hostesses. During the meeting the local drill team practiced the drills they will perform during thJ Grand Lodge convention early in March. CiThe High School P.-T. A. has cancelled their February meeting meet-ing because of a conflict in schedules. Their March meeting meet-ing will be held March 13. Mr. and Mrs. Powell Smyth were in Provo last week end to be present on the birth an- cation trip. Mrs. Janet Walker is caring for the children during dur-ing their absence. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson Thomp-son have returned from a vacation va-cation trip. They were in Phoenix, Ariz.; enjoyed a trip to Scotty's Castle in Death Valley Val-ley and in Las Vegas stopped at the home of her daughter, Harry and Patricia Cashwell. At. Henderson they were guests of another daughter, Paul and Connie Orton, and also stopped in Caliente to visit his daughter daugh-ter and family, Blake and Betty Orton. Veda Cox was home between BYU semesters. She was accompanied ac-companied to Milford by two friends, Miss Lola Galloway of Florida and Judy Stout, who stayed in Milford until her train arrived to take her to her home in Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Cox, Veda and Lola motored mo-tored to Modena to visit Mr. and Mrs. James Cox and children. chil-dren. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Al-brecht Al-brecht are remodeling their home. O A 9-lb son was born Saturday. Satur-day. Feb. 9, in Salt Lake City, to Mr. and Mrs. Duard Nay. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Myers have returned from a four-day trip to Las Vegas. They visited visit-ed daughters of Mr. Myers and their families, Mr. and Mrs. niversary of their son Neil. David Clark is in Salt Lake on a two week business trip.
