Mar-. ion Hughes, 65, who died Feb. 6 after a heart attack, were conducted Saturday in the Milford Mil-ford LDS Church, under direction direc-tion of Bishop Edgar C. Edwards. Ed-wards. 1 The prayer at the mortuary was offered by Clark Anderson. Prelude and postlude music were by Mrs. E. L. Smith. The services were as follows: Invocation, Maurice Johnson. Song, ""I Know That My Redeemer Re-deemer Lives," male quartet, David Williams, Calvin What-cott, What-cott, Robert Wright and Jesse Long, accompanied by Mrs. David Da-vid Williams. Obituary and talk, John U. Rencher. Vocal Solos, "Face to Face" and "My Task," David Hughes, accompanied by Mrs. Smith. Remarks, Lee Pettey, principal, princi-pal, Milford High School. Song, "Beside the Still Waters," Wat-ers," ladies' trio, Mrs. Josephine Killam, Mrs. Bonnie Easton and Mrs. Jerry Kirk, accompanied accompa-nied by Mrs. Beth Edwards. Remarks, J. C. Smith, counselor coun-selor in Beaver Stake Presidency Presi-dency . Song, "Come Lay His Books and Papers By," male quartet. Benediction, Richard Banks. The grave in the Milford City Cemetery was dedicated by Irvine Hughes. iviiutary nonors ana gravesiae services were conferred by Milford Post No. 16, The American Amer-ican Legion. Pallbearers, all nephews of Mr. Hughes, were Lynn Stoddard, Stod-dard, Samuel Welch, Howard Hughes, John H. Rencher, Donald Don-ald Hughes and Jay Anderson. Honorary pallbearers were E. L. Smith, Robert Tomsik, F. A. Bingham, LaMar Outzen, Rue Nielsen, Milton H. Pool, Mel Heslington, Dee Stapley, Richard Jones, Dave Tanner and Bill Nichols. |
