Show Campaign Starts to Bring Concerts to Southern Utah Over 100 campaign workers began selling memberships to the South-Central Utah Concert Con-cert Association last week, following fol-lowing a kick-off campaign banquet Monday in the Rainbow Rain-bow Cafe at Richfield. Under direction of Mrs. Virginia Vir-ginia McKinlay, Richfield, the membership program will run through Saturday noon with a goal of 700 members In the Beaver, Sanpete, Sevier, Piute, Wayne, Garfield and Millard County areas. It was emphasized that at the close of the campaign no more memberships will be sold for this season, and there will be no individual concert ticket sales. Mrs. McKinlay say the association's as-sociation's board members and campaign workers are planning a house to house canvass of the area. The association, organized last winter, is non-profit. It's purpose is to bring te this area some of the finest classical artists in concerts, which will be held in local high schools. Memberships are $7 for adults and $3.50 for students. |
