In Palisade, Colo., they stopped to see M. R. Wright, former owner of the Milford shoe repair re-pair shop, who now operates an ice cream store in Palisades. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Roper, Mrs. Carlie Waddoups and Marvin Sheriff attended funeral funer-al services in Leamington recently re-cently for Leslie Ellis Roper, who is a brother in law of Mrs. Roper, and also a cousin of Henry Roper and Mrs. Car-lie Car-lie Waddoups. Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd F. Koh-ler Koh-ler and son Ned and Miss Florence Flor-ence Englestead of Cedar City spent the week end in Salt Lake City. Ned Kohler has enrolled for the coming school year at the CSU in Cedar City. Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd F. Kohler Kohl-er attended a Southern Utah Dental Society meeting in Cedar Ce-dar City Friday of last week. A banquet was enjoyed by the doctors and their wives. 0 Mr. and Mrs. Kimmel Coon were in Salt Lake attending the State Fair and Ice Follies. They spent several days in the Capital City. Mrs. Lois Moore and Mrs. Alice Elmer plan to enroll at the CSU for special Education Classes which will be held every Thursday evening. Mrs. Wanda Holm and Mrs. . Marva Connell enjoyed the Ice Follies and the -Utah State Fair last week end in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Dan Hutchings recently recent-ly returned from a two week trip to Salt Lake. She attended attend-ed a Stanley convention and also visited relatives, her stepfather step-father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Barnes of Richmond, Rich-mond, and brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. J.. D. Shepherd, Shep-herd, joined her and they attended at-tended the Ice Follies and State Fair. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hutchings are planning a hunting trip to Irvalli, near Missoula, Mont., in October. They will be guests of Mrs. Hutchings' brother in law and sister, Mr. - and Mrs. C. G. Todd. Mrs. Jane Lang celebrated her 91st birth anniversary on Sept. 13th. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Long honored her at a dinner. A sister of Mrs. Lang, Mrs. Eliza Gunn of Beaver, was also present. During the afternoon a host of her Milford friends called to pay their respects and wish her a happy anniversary. anniver-sary. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Colborn spent a few days In Cedar City with Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Stephenson. Ste-phenson. Mrs. Stephenson recently re-cently underwent surgery and is now convalescing at her home. Mary and Gary Weston of Salt Lake were in Milford visiting vis-iting at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Edwards and Mr. and Mrs. John Weston. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Edwards Ed-wards took their daughter Gail to Hayward, Calif., where she is employed. Judy Horton, who is employed em-ployed in Salt Lake City, was home over the week end. O Mrs. Hilda Nolan, who had been living in Salt Lake, is now a resident of Cedar City. Dick Bolton is student teaching teach-ing at the Elementary School, under Mrs. Pat Nelson, Sixth Grade teacher. Dick is attending attend-ing the BYU in Provo and majoring ma-joring in Education and Youth Leadership. O Mrs. Francis Smithson and Mrs. Beniti Burke were in Salt Lake attending the State Fair and enjoyed Holiday on Ice. Mr. and Mrs. Danny Blake and baby of Catskill, N. Y., are in Milford at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Blake. i Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Tribole ! have returned from a visit at the home of their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Tribole, in Bountiful.
