Show secretary and are working toward a succssful year. Mr. and Mrs. Jule Gill'ms have had their home remodeled and it really looks nice. Wednesday Mrs. Gillins left for Salt Lake to attend Relief Society Confer ence. Mrs. Polly Baker left Saturday for the Parowan Rest Home where she will spend the winter. Her daughter, Mrs. Erva Goodwin, Good-win, took her over to Parowan. IHlb W ELK tt fUNERSYlLLE By ALBATEEN ROBERTS tt- s4L Mrs. Marie Woodhouse and son John of Kingman, Ariz., arrived here Friday, surprising her mother, Mrs. John Kelsey, and brother Roy. Mrs. Woodhouse makes the trip to Minersville annually, an-nually, driving her own car. It was nice chatting with her and she informed me she enjoys the Braver Press each week. 0 Mrs. Jay Orton of Spanish Fork is visiting here and is the guest of her father, Marvin Edwards, Ed-wards, and stepmother Mrs. Edwards. Ed-wards. e The weather here is beginning to cool off considerably, although the days are warm. a The people of Minersville are working at the cemetery- planting plant-ing lawn. For a long time money has been donated for this project proj-ect but the cemetery will be beautiful in lawn instead of weeds. e Mrs. Lucy Williams left Tuesday Tues-day by train for Tooele to care for a sister who is seriously ill. Mr. and Mrs. Obra Myers and Mr. and Mrs. Hayward Carter are happy to announce the arrival ar-rival of another grandchild, a boy born in the Iron County Hospital Hos-pital Oct. 3 to Carol and Rex Carter of Beaver. Mrs. Lois Hollingshead was happy to have her husband Andy home from the Beaver County Hospital for .his 78th birthday, Monday, Oct. 3. All the family met at their home for a party. Mr. and Mrs. George Banks and family of Cedar City spent , Saturday with Mr. Banks' mother, I Mrs. Armina Banks, also visiting Armina Friday was a daughter. Mrs. Emma Jean Boyter and three children and Mrs. Alihja Gale. After lunch the group motored mo-tored to Milford where they visited vis-ited relatives and friends and Mrs. Banks had a medical checkup. check-up. a Mrs. Alta Kelsey left by train Monday night for Los Angles to visit her daughter Phyllis and also take care of business affairs. Before leaving for California another an-other daughter, Kenna Lou, who is employed in Salt Lake, came down for a visit. 9 Master David Potter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Potter, met with an accident Monday afternoon. after-noon.
