Show Items of Interest About People You Know Middletown, Conn. Mr. Munk lias been transferred from his U S Navy asignment in New York to Middletown, Conn. Mrs. Lottie Armitage nas returned re-turned from Montrose, Colo., where she has been since June caring for a brother in law, Lester Les-ter Wilson. Mr. Wilson passed away Sept. 7th of a rare lung disease. Floyd R. Bekins of the Bekins Van & Storage Co., Los Angeles, stopped to see his cousin, Mrs. Myrtle Morrison. Mr. Bekins also has mining interests in this area. E. J. Lutz has replaced Bud Bown as UP mechanical foreman. Mr. Lutz is from Kelso, Calif., and is living in one of the LaMar Outzen apartments. Mr. Bown and family plan to move to Salt Lake. Mrs. Marie Rollins left last Friday for Long Beach, Calif., to care for her daughter, Mr. Glen-na Glen-na Foley, who has pneumonia. o Mr and Mrs. Harold Cline returned re-turned to Milford Wedneday eve ning from Salt Lake City, where Mr Cline underwent spinal surgery. sur-gery. Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Fowles have been to Salt Lake to see Mr. Fowles' 84 year old mother, Mrs. Mary S. Blain, who is in the LDS Hospital. The couple returned re-turned to Milford Wednesday and plan to make another trip to Salt Lake this week. A visitor the past month at tho home of Mr and Mrs Eddie Anderson An-derson is Mrs. Anderson's mother, moth-er, Mrs. Margaret Urie of Cedar City. Eighty-one year old Charles 01-sen 01-sen of Bluff, Alaska, is in Milford at the homes of Dr. and Mrs. Eugene Davie and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Anderson. They became acquainted while Dr. Davie and the Andersons were in Alaska last summer. Mr. Olsen underwent under-went major surgery in the Beaver Beav-er County Hospital. Mrs. Hope LeFevre of Miners-ville Miners-ville and Mrs. Dian McCulley of Milford have been in Salt Lake at the home of Dyke and Mary Jane LeFevre. Dyke is attending the University and Mary Jane is working in the LDS Hospital laboratory. lab-oratory. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Ruth have purchased the Harry Meeker home. Mr. and Mrs. John J. Schnack-enberg Schnack-enberg left this week for Preston, Pres-ton, Idaho, where they will remain re-main for a month. They plan to fish and hunt and will be guests of Mrs. Schnackenberg's daugh ter, Mrs. Katherine Trickey. Brian Sherwood joined his wife Mickey and new baby Curtis James in Milford and they left for their home in Salt Lake accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Dee Ferguson Fergu-son and daughter Lucile and Mrs. Dora Johnson. Mrs. Ferguson plans to remain with her son in law and daughter for a week before be-fore returning to Milford. Others 9 Mr. and Mrs. Roy Labrum, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Ilene Gray of Minersville, left for Flagstaff, Ariz., after receiving word that their granddaughter, Debra Kay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Gray, had suffered a badly burned hand from a hot iron. Debra was taken to a Salt Lake hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Volney Wise announce an-nounce the birth of a new grandson, grand-son, Sept. 23, to Mr. and Mrs. I Dean Wise at Minneapolis, Minn. Mr. and Mrs. Armon Whiting spent a week's vacation in St. George with relatives. Mrs. Shirley Shir-ley Persons handled Mrs. Whiting's Whit-ing's duties at the Telluride Power Pow-er Co. office during their absence. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Johnson have movd into their new home, which was recently completed. Neal Wise and two friends, Joe Dennison and Kent Garfield, all Dixie College students, were here over the week end at the home oi Mr. and Mrs. Volney Wise. Mrs. Clyde Tanner of Los Angeles An-geles spent two days in Milford with her mother, Mrs. Lena Morris, Mor-ris, en route to the northern part of the state. In Ogden she spent a day with her brother, Foster Morris, and will attend the LDS Conference in Salt Lake. Mrs. Lillian Mellor was in Salt Lake this week. Mrs. Neva Kinross is expected to return to Milford next week after a three month visit in Detroit De-troit with her daughter Betty and family. Bert Allman returned to Salt Lake Wednesday after spending a week here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Allman and attending funeral services for Floyd Winn. Joniel Aagard spent last week end in Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Roger Aagard. Mr. and Mrs. William Ash-worth Ash-worth returned Tuesday from a three week vacation. They had motored to Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. K. B. Coon and joined their son Don and family and together the group attended Holi- in the party have returned. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Wheeler left Thursday for Long Beach, Calif., to be with their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gillins, for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Miller were in Orem last week end at the home of Mrs. Miller's mother. Mrs. Lola Banks, county Cancer chairman, and Mrs. Lillian Mellor, Mel-lor, publicity and education chairman, chair-man, were in Salt Lake last week attending a state conference. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Connell have returned to Milford, after a stay in Salt Lake during which Mr. Connell received medical attention. at-tention. Mrs. O. R. Smith, president of the American Legion Auxiliary; Mrs. Magdalena White, Mrs. Patricia Pat-ricia Williams and Steve Williams Wil-liams attended the American Legion Le-gion and Auxiliary district convention con-vention at St. George Saturday evening. Murdock is visiting vis-iting her children in California. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Horton have moved into the basement apartment of R. H. Ruth, formerly former-ly owned by Mrs. Lettie Fother-ingham. Roan, mother of Mrs. Norman Baxter, and a friend, Mrs. Gerbrek, of San Fernando Fer-nando Valley, Calif., enjoyed a visit to Milford recently. They stop here on a tour and also visited vis-ited another of Mrs. Roan's daughters in Weiser, Idaho. Mrs. Freda Hawkins of Salt Lake is at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. 0. C.
