Show THIS WEEK 1M iMRSME By MRS. EMILY GILLINS Harold Baker, who recently underwent un-derwent surgery in the Milford hospital for double hernia, is now recuperating at home. Mrs. Marybelle Eyre and daughter daugh-ter Laurie spent ten days vacationing vaca-tioning in Caifornia with relatives. Mrs Oerfriwlrx Mnrchnll nHnnrlpH new home in Sutherlin, Oregon. The Minersville Literary club members and the Primary officers and teachers with whom Donna was associated, honored her at a surprise party, held at the home of her mother, Mrs. Eloise Murdock, Tuesday night. It was a thoroughly thorough-ly enjoyable evening, during which games and pot-luck refreshments were featured, and Donna was presented pre-sented with a beautiful blanket and personal effects, for which she was grateful. Donna h3S worked faithfully in many organizations and Mr. Boyter has been.' active in Boy Scout work. Word has been received in Minersville Min-ersville of the death of Hal Sud-gen Sud-gen in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Sud-gen Sud-gen was the husband of Mrs. Bertha Ber-tha Price Sudgen, sister to- Mrs. Amanda Nolder. Mrs. Lynnea Marshall was hostess host-ess to members of the Legion Aux-, Aux-, iliary Wednesday evening of last week at her home, where she served home-made icecream and German cake to the following guests: Mrs. Alba Carter, Mrs. DruciUa Carter, Mrs. Phyllis Truman, Tru-man, Mrs. Lily Lambson, Mrs. Betty Bet-ty Marshall, Mrs. Shirley Hollings-head, Hollings-head, Mrs. Emily Gillins, Mrs. Wil-ma Wil-ma Davis, and Mrs. Gertrude Marshall.
