Show 1 Graveside Services Held For Thomas W. Campbell Graveside burial services for Thomas W. Campbell, 56, formerly of Milford, were conducted Saturday Satur-day afternoon in Beaver's Mountain Moun-tain View cemetery by Albert Pike Masonic Lodge No. 14, with Master Eugene H. Mayer officiating. Prior services had been conducfed at 10 a.m. at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel in Provo, with Master Robert Rob-ert H. Drew, Story Lodge No. 4, Provo, officiating. Thomas W. Campbell, who died at his home in Salt Lake City Wednesday, January 6, was born January 27, 1903, in Zion, 111., a son of Thomas and Sarah Tate Campbell. Camp-bell. He moved to Nephi at the age of 10 years and began his employment em-ployment with the Union Pacific Railroad at the age of 13, continuing continu-ing in the railroad's employ for 43 years. He married Louise Levi August 20, 1927. Milford was the home of the Campbells during most of Tom's railroad career, but they also had lived in Cedar City, Cali-ente, Cali-ente, Nevada, and Provo. He was a member of Story Lodge No. 4, F. & A. M., Provo; El Kalah Temple, Order of the Mystic Shrine; Twin Peaks Masonic Club ' of Salt Lake City; Union Pacific Masonic Club; Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen; and Union Pacific Old-Timers Club No. 12. He is survived by his widow; his mother, Mrs. Campbell Andersen; Ander-sen; and two brothers, Guy C. Campbell and Erwin E. Campbell; all of Salt Lake City. Friends may, if they wish, make contributions to the Shriners Hospital Hos-pital for Crippled Children in Salt Lake City in lieu of floral tokens. |
