Show Milford Jaycees Plan Road-E-0 Plans for Milford's annual Jaycee Road-E-O were completed complet-ed this week and committees named to carry out the various duty assignments. ''Purpose of the Road-e-o is to alert our teen-agers to their responsibilities while driving," said Richard Bell, publicity director dir-ector for the annual event. The road-e-o is comprised of a written examination and a skill driving course which is designed de-signed to improve their driving habits and attitudes, and "prove to others their ability to drive safely." The written examination will be given at the Milford City Library Li-brary March 18 to 22, between the hohrs of 4 and 4:30 p. m.. The skill test will be run off Sunday, March 31, at 2 p. m., on Main street. Last year, Mr. Bell pointed out, the Mil'ford road-e-o winner win-ner went on to Salt Lake and won the state contest, then placed among the first ten in the national contest. It is quite possible, he said, that Milford can produce another state winner this year. Wally Fotheringham is general gen-eral chairman of the road-e-o. Assisting him will be Ronald Gale and Floyd Winn, written test; Bob Slinkerd, awards; Mr. Bell and Mr. Gale, equipment and course, and judging will be Mr. Gale, Mr. Bell, Mr. Winn, Mr. Fotheringham, Mr. Slinkerd, Slink-erd, Steve 'Williams, Lee Pettey, Pet-tey, and Norman Baxter. |
