Both motion pictures were produced pro-duced by Union Pacific's Motion Picture Bureau in cooperation with the Department of Livestock and Agriculture. Requests for the booklet should be directed to the Department of Livestock and Agriculture, Ag-riculture, v- U P Offers New Film On Dairying "To encourage the use of more milk and dairy products," is the purpose offered by Union Pacific Railroad officials of a new 16 mm film, "New Horizons Along the Milky Way." Filmed in color and sound, the 26-minute motion picture joins the 12-subject film library of the rail-I rail-I road's Department of Livestock and Agriculture. Joe W. Jarvis, supervisor of the department, noted the film is suit- able for all types of group programs pro-grams and for television showing. "This film offers a colorful and accurate ac-curate presentation of modern dairying," Jarvis explained. "It shows how milk is produced and how, through modern mechanical milking, it is never exposed to the air or touched by human hands." He reported it replaces the company's com-pany's outdated dairy picture, "Alor5 the Milky Way." Showing the advancements madr by the dairy farmer in the produc tion of milk, the new picture presents pre-sents in a concise manner the steps taken to assure the consumer clean, uniform quality milk and milk products.
