Show HENRY D. TAYLOR, COUNCIL ASSISTANT, TO SPEAK AT BEAVER CONFERENCE Elder Henry D. Taylor, an Assistant to the Council of the Twelve Apostles, and Elder Walter Stover, a member of the Church Welfare Committee, will be featured speakers for the quarterly conference of the Beaver Stake Saturday and Sunday, CONFERENCE SPEAKER I 1 f r Jan. 30 and Feb. 1. The public is invited to general sessions Sunday at 10 a. rn. and 2 p. m., announced Stake President Presi-dent Wallace D. Yardley. The meetings will be held in the First-Third Ward Church, 10C West Center Beaver. Elder Taylor held several other church positions before becoming Assistant to the Council of Tweve, including bishop, stake president, mission president, and chairman of regions of the Church Welfare Plan. He is also active in civic and community affairs. Elder Stowe is a director of the famed Church Welfare Plan. Four times each year, members are called to the conferences for counsel and instruction from church leaders. Reports will als: be given regarding the Priesthood Quorums, missionary work, and auxiliary programs. In addition to the general conference con-ference sessions at 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. Sunday, President Yard-ley Yard-ley said, a stake welfare meeting is scheduled for 6 p. m. Saturday, and a meeting for all stake and ward Priesthood leaders at 8 p.m. Henry D. Taylor I |
