Show THIS WEEK IN r MINERSVILLE By Mrybelle Eyre (Held Over from Last Week) Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bow-cutt Bow-cutt and daughter were here spending their vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ru-lon Ru-lon Eyre. Darla Eyre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Eyre, celebrated cele-brated -her 6th birthday with a party on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Dee J. Smith and family were here for a few days during the deer hunt. Mr. Smith returned to their home in California and Renee stayed to spend a few more, days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Truman Bradfield. Mrs. Nettie Moore, Mrs. Ada Davie and Bob Moore visited Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pryor during the deer hunt. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pryor went to Salt Lake Wednesday to meet their children, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Limb and Mrs. Collette Hodge, and to attend to business. Mr. and Mrs. Harrell Gil-lins Gil-lins and two children have been here during the deer hunt spending a few days with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jule Gillins and Mr. and Mrs. Gus Lambson. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Murdock were here visiting his brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Murdock. Jean Dotson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Dotson, celebrated her 13th birthday Saturday. A large crowd of friends was there to play bingo and enjoy the refreshments. refresh-ments. . Mrs. Sally Smith and son were here Sunday visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Obra Myers. Mr. and Mrs. Art Myers and family of Kearns visited this week at the Obra Myers home. Mrs. Margaret Bozarth was here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bonner. Mrs. Lawrence Easton arrived ar-rived Saturday to spend a few days with her sister, Mrs. Hilton Gillins. Sunday they motored to Parowan to visit their father, Andrew Jensen, on his 90th birthday. Other family members visiting him that day were Mrs. Leola Gillins, Gil-lins, Mrs. Donna Moser, Earl and Karl Gillins. Earl Gillins left Tuesday for Long Beach to report back to his ship. He will sail about Nov. 3 for Japan. Mrs. Nellie Eyre was admitted ad-mitted to the Beaver County Hospital Thursday, following a slight stroke. She is reported report-ed greatly improved. Visiting Mr .and Mrs. Lynn Roberts during the deer hunt were their children, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil James and Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Roberts, Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Roberts, Rob-erts, Springrville ; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Theriot, Las Vegas, and Spence Robert, Cedar City. Sandra Jean Petty, a student at the University of Southern California, and Dallas Isom of Cedar City, who is stationed in San Diego with the U S Navy, were Saturday dinner guests at the home of Mrs. Amanda Nolder. Sandra was visiting her grandmother, Mrs. Nolder, and her mother, Mrs. Helen Maghie and baby who are visiting in Miners ville. ' |
