LATING TO COMPENSATION COMPENSA-TION OF MEMBERS OF THE LEGISLATURE. j Be it resolved by the LegiAa- ture of the State of UL'th, j two-thirds of all membns elected to each of the tiro houses voting in favor thereof: Section 1. It is proposed to . amend Article VI, Section 9 of the Constitution of the State ) of Utah to read as follows: j Section 9. The members cf the Legislature shall receive j such compensation, not exceeding ex-ceeding $500 a year for the legislative term and expenses as provided by law while actually actu-ally in session, and mileage as provided by law. Section 2. The Secretary ot ; State is directed to submit j this proposed amendment to the electors of the state at the j next general election in the j manner provided by law. j Section 3. This amendment i shall take effect upon approval j by the electors of the state. |
