Show MILFORD PLANS BIG PIONEER DAY CELEBRATION The Milford First Ward will sponsor Milford's Pioneer Day celebration on Thursday, July 24th, and has announced the following program: Float and costume parade, starting ai: 9 a. m. The parade will form at the L D S Church, and proceed down First West to Sixth South, down Sixth South to the Forgie Apartment Apart-ment corner on Main, and North on Main to Center Street. The parade will disband dis-band at the Beaver County Hospital. An appropriate program in the L D S Church will follow the parade. Feature of the children's races, to be held in Legion Park, will be the traditional Bishopric Race. Also scheduled is a free swim for all children, and concession con-cession will be operated in the park thruout the day. The concessions will feature a fish pond, dart board, and eats including home made root beer, chili burgers, hamburgers, hambur-gers, pie, cake and ice cream. Starting at 9 p. m. at the fairgrounds a mammoth fireworks fire-works display will be presented. present-ed. No admission will bc-charged, bc-charged, but' contributions will be accepted to help defray expenses. |
