Show BEAVER x Personal Mention Mr. and Mrs. A. A, Morris will leave Thursday for Las Vegas to meet their son Theron, who will drive them on to Anaheim, Calif., to visit Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Morris and family. Eldon Warner, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Morris, and his fiance, fi-ance, Miss Lola Hirschi of Cedar City, called at the Morris home Sunday en route to Salt Lake. Also visiting Mr. and Mrs. Morris this week has been their daughter, Mrs. Vera Speakman of Fillmore! who has been assisting with the spring cleaning. Mr. and Mrs. David Willden and baby spent a few days in Beaver Bea-ver this week visiting Mr. and Mis. LaVar Willden and family and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Warby. David has been transferred to Winnemucca, Nev., and will move his family there. Mrs. Ernest Pearce of Salt Lake spent the past week in Beaver visiting vis-iting her 'parents, Mr. and Mrs. Niels Jenson, and with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Easton and family. She returned home with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Larsen and Niels Jensen, who went to Salt Lake on business. Mr. and Mrs. Varnel Parkinson and Miss iRevola Parkinson of Salt Lake were Beaver visitors over the week end. They came to 'be present at the graduation of their sister Ardella. Revola, who is employed at the Salt Lake F H A office, is leaving in June for Seattle, Wash., to make her home. Phyllis Baker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Baker, left Friday for Salt Lake, where she will j spend the summer. She will re- ' side at the Bee Hive House and 'hopes to find employmnt . as a stenographer. David Reynolds left Beaver Monday for Clearfield, where he will be employed for the summer. Mrs. Florence (Woodhouse) Stewart and baby of South Gate, Calif., is visiting for a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Woodhouse. Mrs. Mary Goodwin has returned re-turned to Beaver for the summer after spending the winter with her Ichildren in California, Nevada and Salt 'Lake. Mrs. 'Ralph MoCloy and thren children, Linda, Marilyn and Joe, were week end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kerksiek. Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Nelson Sunday were Shirley and Roy Hughes and family of Pan- guitch. Visiting at the Gerald Viokers home during the past week were Mrs. Vickers' father, Alma Butler, and her sister, Mrs. David Perry and son Robert. Mrs. Loretta Fisher is visiting in Beaver with her sister, Mrs. j Anona Swindlehurst, and father, j George Wilson. j Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Vickers attended the 49ers celebration in ' Panguitch. i ceived word that their son Byron, of San Jose, Calif., will receive two weeks special training in Washington, D. C, after which he will work in the U S General Accounting Ac-counting office until he graduates gradu-ates from San Jose State College August 1. After graduating, completing com-pleting four years' college work in three years, he expects to be assigned to th U S Accounting office of-fice in Denver. Mr. and Mrs. LaMont Thornock, Gary and Nadine, of Salt Lake, are visiting in Beaver this week with Mrs. T. O. Patterson and Mrs. Ann Swindlehurst and son ' Kent spent last week in Provo visiting Ann's mother, Mrs. Slick. Ed and 'Sylvia Oakden and sons returned to their home in Las Vegas Sunday after visiting Mr. i and Mrs. Stan Oakden and family. fam-ily. Mrs. Oakden and sons have been in Beaver two weeks, during which time the two boys underwent under-went tonsillectomies. Fred Levi was a Beaver visitor for several days the past week with his sister, Mrs. Neils Jensen, and niece, Mrs. Margaret White, J and their familes. Mrs. Lee Smith and son Kelly Lee were overnight guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Carter Car-ter on Tuesday, May 20. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Ken Smith and family and Mr. and Mrs. Obra Myers in Minersvlle. Lee arrived for graduation services serv-ices and they returned to Salt Lake Friday. I other relatives. Brent Smith was in Beaver for graduation exercises and to visit his .parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Smith. Janet Carter accompanied him back to Salt Lake and will return to Beaver with her aunt, Lois White. Visitors at the Mel Heslington home over the graduation week end were their daughter Margene end four children of Price. Her husband, Mick Lindsey, came for the week end and also visited his mother, Mrs. Charles Lindsey, and other relatives. Other guests, of the Heslingtons were Mrs. Hazel Snyder and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Leech of Milford. |
