Show THI WEEK IN M1NERSV1LLE By MARYBELLE EYRE All the 4-H leaders of the county coun-ty met Tuesday at Minersville for a leadership meeting before they began their summer work. The meetings was under direction of County Agent Grant Esplin and Amy Kersleigh from the U S U was here to give special pointers to the group. Mrs. Nona Miles and three children arrived Monday to spend a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Eyre. Carol Bohn of Las Vegas is here spending a few days visiting relatives and friends. Mrs. Nellie Erickson and George arrived Monday to visit and attend at-tend the 'funeral for Mrs. Evans. Kent Morgan of Beaver was a Sunday visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Eyre. O Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Johnson and family were week end guests Pt the home of her mother, Mrs. Gu.s Marshall. e Mrs. LaVon Edwards of Stockton Stock-ton is here visiting her mother, Mrs. Albie Carter, who was released re-leased Monday from the Iron County Hospital after undergoing surgery. 9 The tennis court on the churcn yard is being completed this week with the screen and net going into place. Also a cement sidewalk has been added from the court to the fence and a gate installed. a The Primary presented a group of girls for graduation at the Sacrament meeting Sunday eve-nms- Speakers for the evening were Ruben Dotson, Marilyn Wood and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Davis. Mrs. Alta Kelsey and Kenna Lue left Saturday to spend a few days in Salt Lake with Mrs. Betty Peterson, Pet-erson, and then journeyed to Colorado Colo-rado to visit Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bonner. Mr. and Mrs. Fay Marshall were in Salt Lake Monday. |
