Friday was old folks day, a day that will be remembered by the veterans as one of the most pleasant in their lives, for everything that kind alld thoughtful thought-ful people could do was done to make the day a pleasant one. Father Lorenzo Clark, an old Mormon Battalion veteran, was the oldest gentleman present, being 93 years and 7 months old, and he received receiv-ed a nice black silk muffler in honor cf the event.
