Miss Rose Gregorson has quit teaching teach-ing school at Kanarra. and is spending her vacation at the home fireside in Bellevue. Gottlieb Schmutz and wife went to Cedar City Tuesday with their little son to have an operation performed on him. The operation was a success and the little boy is getting along well. George Spilsbury of Toquerville was here with the superintendent of Sunday Sun-day schools, and Dr. Karl G. Maeser and George Reynolds of the S. S. Union. Meeting was held at 6 o'clock in the evening and was well attended. A wedding dance, in honor of John Arnold Mathis of Harmony and his bride, Rachel CoUam, one of the fair daughters of St. George, was held here on the 12th inst. All enjoyed the dance and good music until the early morning hours. The Misses Alice and Molly Redd came home from the branch Normal school at Cedar City to attend the wedding reception. James Naegle of of Toquerville also attended. The music for the dance was furnished by Cosslett of Cedar City, and Sam Pollack, Pol-lack, Jr., and A. Graf of Kanarra. NEW IIAKMONV. E. M. Watts went to Toquerville on business Monday. Alma Angell of Leeds was visiting relatives here Monday, Mrs. Granville Pace of Harmony is visiting relatives in Pinto. Lemuel Redd, a former resident of this dace, is here from Mexico visiting old friends. Mrs. George Wood and Sons of Cedar City came here on a visit and to attend the Matins Wedding dance. W. B.
