Show The peo)le of this place were congratulated con-gratulated upon their efforts to build up a new settlement and encouraged to keep on and work hand in hand with the Lord, and were promised if by doing do-ing as the Lord required they would soon have a beautiful little town. The people were well pleased and benefited with the visit, and hope in the near future to again be favored with another an-other visit from some of the authorities of our Church. And now, Mr. Editor, in regard to the town itself, I must say that it is forging ahead. There are fourteen or fifteen families here and still talk of more to come. We have now thoroughly thor-oughly established a postoftice, and general merchandise store, both managed man-aged by our most wide-awake and competent com-petent townsman, John Day. We have also a district school this year with an enrollment of 49 children of school age,-1 and as the walls of our new brick school house are being laid we will have our school running in a month or six weeks-, The brick yard of W. H. Marshall is now running at full blast and the outlook out-look is that he will be unable to supply all demands made upon it. but if frost does not come too soon no doubt he will be able to make brick enough for those that absolutely has to have them. Mr. Marshall is a whole souled, genial gentleman and deeply interested in the upbuilding of Enterprise. The season has been exceptionally dry, but the people are more determined determin-ed than ever and have put, and are putting, all their energies to the settling set-tling of this new burg. The health of the people generally is excellent. A LEX. H. Roi.LO. KNTBRI'HISK.
