Show Bentheim's Story Discredited in Germany. Coburg, Sept. S. A semi-official agency declares that the charge mado by Charles E. Bentheim of Atlanta, Ga., to the effect that Alvin Florschutz when vice-consul at Sonnoburg used the seals, letterheads, etc., of the consulate con-sulate for years before the Dreyfus case came up, for the transmission to the German war office of French military mili-tary secrets, is pure invention. It is also said that l!entheim was never employed em-ployed in the oftices of the general staff of Germany as he claimed. |
