A Hongkong delegation, dele-gation, representing the southern Philippines Phil-ippines and consisting of the best and richest natives of Panay, Minora, Ceuba and Mindao, visited United States Consul Con-sul Williams yesterday and urged that every effort be made for the annexation of the I'h lip.iinc islands. The deputation deputa-tion declared that all classes, the warlike war-like mountaineers as well as those engaged en-gaged in mercantile pursuits, would welcome the stars and stripes, and had resolved never to submit to Spanish or Tagal rule. |
