Preside n' McKinley has visited Camp Wikoff. and for four or five hours he reviewed the camp, bare headed most of the time, visiting-thesick in their hospitals and inspecting the well in their canton' ments. He made a speech to the assembled as-sembled infantrymen, reviewed the cavalrymen, expressed his opinion of the camp to the reporters and issued an order directing the regiment to return re-turn to their station east of tin Mississippi. General Wheeler, his staff and nearly every officer of proininence in the camp met the president at the station, except General Shaffer who is still in detention, de-tention, and General Young who hod broken his arm the night before. After greetiug and introductions on j the railway platform, the president i took Gederal Wheeler's arm and went j to a carriage.
