Show Enthusiastic Kepsonse Reported At Dixie Defense Classes Monday Classes in the defense program got underway Monday morning at the college with an enthusiatic response from the students. Work in first aid is being given by Stanley Watts, B. Glen Smith, Frank Gould, and Mrs. Ada Neil-son. Neil-son. Fire and safety hazard study is supervised by Julio Paolasso and Earl Cottam. H. L. Reid is leading the discussion in vital civic information, and Leland Hafen is giving lectures on physical physi-cal fitness. All students will rotate ro-tate in these various fields. Later other fields will be given. Local physicians also started last Saturday to give each student stu-dent a physical examination. Upon completion of the defense courses, the students should not only have a stock of knowledge for themselves, but also they should be prepared to pass it on to others. |
