Show Adult Classes At Dixie College Well Attended On First Nights A large group attended the first sessions of the adult classes given at the college Monday and Tuesday Tues-day evenings. Particularly popular were the class in literature under Miss Linna Snow, the type class under Wendell Bayles and the municipal problems class under Pres. Glenn E. Snow. Work also got under way in most of the other courses outlined, out-lined, including: Clothing construction con-struction and tailoring, nutrition, orchestra, carpentry, drafting speech, shorthand, farm mechanics, mechan-ics, local western history, world religions and meteorology. There was also a large demand for physical education work, and this course will get under way immediately. There are still openings in all these classes, and others will be organized if called for. Those interested in-terested should contact President Snow at the college for details as to time of classes and as to registration arrangements. A course in home nursing under the direction of Miss Olga Karg-oloff Karg-oloff is well under way now, with a maximum enrolment of 25 having hav-ing been reached. |
