Show Public Warned That Only About A Week Is Lett for Xmas Mailing By WILLIAM BROOKS St George Postmaster Postmasters have been requested by the department to warn the public that there remains only about a week in November during which the bulk of the Christmas parcels must be mailed if they are to reach their destination on time. All Christmas cards should have first-class postage affixed, and if possible, be placed in the "mail before Dec. 1st. Cards handled in this way are assured of reaching reach-ing their destinations, and on time. Even during ordinary Christmas Christ-mas rushes cards with the third-class third-class postage affixed (l'ic) have been long delayed; they can not be forwarded, and are destroyed unless promptly claimed.
