Show Legion Auxiliary Wins Membership Award ; The American Legion Auxiliary, Lester Keate Post No. 90, are re- i joicing over the receipt Tuesday, of the cash award for having ( reached the highest per cent in membership over the state quota ; for 1941-42, by Nov. 11, last. This is a much sought-for award in i the various auxiliaries of the state and the local organization is proud ; to have so many loyal members, along with the glory of the award which will be put to good use in the annual program, say the members. mem-bers. The local Auxiliary has completed com-pleted the making of the curtains for the living room of the St. George unit at the training camp in San Luis Obispo and have sent them forward several days ago according ac-cording to plans and are awaiting now the contributions from the various women's clubs of St. George to help in defraying the expense of this much needed item. Those who worked on the curtains cur-tains state that excellent material ( was obtained and the women put . their best efforts into making the set-up something the local clubs 1 will be proud to sponsor sending.
