Show Services For Mrs. Alice Isom Spendlove To Be Held Friday, 19th HURRICANE, Utah. Services fori Mrs. Alice Isom Spendlove, 77, who died Wednesday at 5:00 a.m., will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p. m., in the stake chapel. Mrs. Spendlove was born in Virgin, Jan. 4, 1872, -a daughter of George and Alice Parker Isom. She was married to William Spendlove May 20, 1890. In 1892 the young couple moved to Tropic and were among the first settlers there. In 1907 they moved back tn Virgin where they lived for a year and then with the first settlers sett-lers made their home in Hurricane. Hurri-cane. She was very active in church work as long as her health would permit serving in both the Sunday Sun-day school and Relief Society for a number of years. Surviving her are four children: W H Spendlove and Mrs. Evada Bradshaw of Hurricane; Mrs. Tennessee Dcmming of Reno; and Mrs Effie Leming of Sparks, New Uso the following brothers and ters- Mrs. William P. Palmer of Cedar City: Mrs. Annie M. Webb of St. George; Mrs. Fred C. Heaton of Moccasin, and George Isom of Hurricane. |
