Show Mrs. Dixon Receives Word From Son On Japan-Attacked Wake Island Mrs. W. D. DLxon Sr., who is wintering here with her daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. B. Glen Smith and Mi's. Margaret Bradford, rejoiced Tuesday forenoon upon the receipt of a cable from her son, William D. DLxon Jr., who is stationed with the Morris and Knudsen contractors con-tractors at Midway Island, center of one of last week's Japanese depredations. The cable stated everything was okeh at Midway. This is the first word they have had since before the invasion. Mr. Dixon's wife, the former Ruth Mendenhall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy V.
