Show Wild Life Meet To Be Held Saturday Night Report To Be Given On Dixie Spring Deer Count Recently Completed Do you think that there are too many deer on the Dixie forest, or are you thoroughly convinced that something must be done to stop the doe hunts and thus allay the inroads of the herd? If you are interested in the deer question or other hunting and fishing problems prob-lems in the county you should attend at-tend the annual meeting of the Washington County Wild Life Federation meeting to be held in the Woodward high school gym on next Saturday night at 8 p. m., states Lawrence Wadsworth, president pres-ident of the association. Speakers will be present to present pre-sent information on the recent survey made on the forest. Featured Fea-tured also on the program will be Ross Leonard, state fish and game director and other game and forestry, for-estry, officials. Their talks will be followed by a general discussion of county game problems. The secretary will also present the annual report of the association associa-tion and this will be followed by the election of a president, vice president and three directors. The secretary will be chosen by these officers. "This is your opportunity to come out and express yourselves on fish and game problems. It is also your opportunity to see that the men you want are elected to head the organization for the coming com-ing year, so come out Saturday night, April 10th, and express yourselves," states Mr. Wadsworth. |
