Show ENTERPRISE Mrs. Theresa Iluntsman Mrs. Lillian Pace Reporters Mr. and Mrs. John Z. Alger had as guests over the week end their children, Mr. and Mrs. Orlis Alger and family of Brigham City;. Mr. and Mrs. L. J. O'Connor of Los Angeles; and Mrs. Fae Gleason of Garland. From here the O'Connors O'Con-nors went to Ogden to live. Mrs. Gleason will remain here for several sev-eral weeks. Mrs. Naomi Hunt and daughter, Karen, has returned home after a month's visit with her mother, Mrs. Jane Barnum in Las Vegas. Imogene Holt, Heber Wayne Holt and Helen Brooks of St. George visited here over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Bar-locker, Bar-locker, Mr. and Mrs. Heber M. Holt and Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Terry attended Conference in Salt Lake City. The stake missionaries of this ward held a cottage meeting at the home of N.B. Jones last Thursday night. Present from Panaca to participate were Stake ilission President Free, Earl Long and Lorraine Hollinger. A good meeting is reported but a poor attendance. Mrs. Emma Hunt is home from California where she spent the past month visiting with her son, Clair and family. Mrs. Twitchell and infant daughter daugh-ter are here from Hollywood, Calif., visiting with her parents, Mr, a.nd Mrs. John Day. Farewell Honors Boys A farewell party was given on Tuesday night in the gymnasium for three of our boys who have been inducted into the Army and will leave for Fort Douglas this week end. The boys are: Jayj Holt, Norman Hunt and Heber Staheli. Kenneth Staheli, who was called for examination at the same time was deferred because of illness. ill-ness. A large crowd from Gunlock and Veyo also attended the party. Truman Bowler of Gunlock will also leave with the boys. Dancing Danc-ing and refreshments were enjoyed en-joyed following the program. |
