Another danes will be held Wednesday, Oct. 7. Our M. I. A. has been reorganized reorgan-ized with Beth Stephens as president presi-dent of the Y. L. M. I. A. and Ruby Robinson and Inez Larson as counsellors; Evan Cooper president of the Y. M. M. I. A., and Quinton Nisson and Cleyon Sproul as aids. The first meeting meet-ing of the year was held Tuesday Tues-day night. Archie Tobler and Walter Iver-son Iver-son made a business trip to Idaho last week. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Hall have returned from Omaha, Nebraska where they attended the Winter Quarters Monument dedication. Mrs. Mitilda Andrus spent several sev-eral days here last week visiting with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. William H. Tobler Tob-ler and son, Glen and Glade, and daughters Winnie and Doris made a trip to Prorvo Friday to take Miss Doris who will attend the B. Y. U. this winter. Archie Tobler, Walter Iverson and son, Merrill left Friday for Burley, Idaho to take a truckload of livestock to James Tegan. Mrs. Ruth Hoops returned the latter part of the ' week from Beaver where she nade a short visit. Inez Larson left last week for Salt Lake City to attend the state fair. She will" also visit friends in Provo before returning home. Mrs. Burt Webb left Sunday for Pioche where she will join her husband who has work there. Mrs. Clark Chadburn and daughter, Lou Jean have moved to St. George. Phyllis Nisson spent the weekend week-end here from Springdale where she is teaching school. Mrs. Erma Abbott and family left Saturday from Bunkerville to join her husband. Mrs. James Hall and daughter, Edith were visiting relatives here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Staheli and family have gone to Pan-guich Pan-guich to spend a month. |
