Show PAREN T-TEACH E R ASS X. HOLDS FIRST SESSION' OF YEAR LAST THl'RS. The P.-T. A. held its first session ses-sion in the College auditorium at S o'clock Thursday evening. A large enthusiastic crowd listened lis-tened to an explanation of the present "set-up" of our schools given by B. Glen Smith, N. R. Frei and Vernon Worthen. Dr. Wilford Reichmann representing the Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary club talked in the interest of the Dixie junior college col-lege urging that the people continue con-tinue to support it as they have done in the past. Musical numbers included ' a vocal solo by Dilworth M. Snow, and a selection of numbers of the Parent-Teachers orchestra. After the program the group adjourned to the gymnasium where dancing was engaged in. Music for the dance was furnished furn-ished by the P.-T. A. orchestra. |
