Show Bur.kerviile, Hey. Mrs. Mary II. Leavitt Reporter Albert Hafen was brought home from the St. George hospital after a three weeks' treatment. His condition is still very critical, and his son, Alfred and wife of Salt Lake City, were summoned for the second time. Mr. Hafen's son, Luther, of Mesquite, went to St. George to help bring him home. A shower was given in honor of Lois Tobler on May 20, at the home of her parents. She received many beautiful and useful presents. A dainty lunch was served to approximately 75 guests. Miss Tobler has spent the past winter in Provo, where she met her fiance, Mr. Curtis, who was a Junior at the B.Y.U. Their wedding wed-ding is planned for June 12. Mr. Curtis and his mother accompanied accom-panied Miss Tobler from Provo to meet her folks here. Mrs. Luella Leavitt is in Logan-dale Logan-dale caring for her daughter, Mrs. Marvin Waite, who gave birth to a baby girl on May 10. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Leavitt stopped over Sunday at the home of Mr. Leavitt's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Leavitt. They are going to Ogden where they will spend a month, after which Mr. Leavitt will go to Berkeley, Calif, to continue his studies for his Ph.D. Mr. Leavitt has spent the past three years in Overton as principal of the high school there. |
