Show Gunlock Mrs. Lee V. Leavitt Reporter Miss Berl Bowler of Gunlock spent several days here last week visiting Miss LaVerde Chadburn. James R. Bunker has a new tractor and is starting on his spring plowing with it. Several of our townspeople spent Saturday and Sunday in St. George for Union meeting and conference. Miss LaVerde Chadburn went to Gunlock Wednesday to visit with friends. From there she went on to St. George to stay for a while. Von B. Cottam of St. George was in town Saturday evening and Sunday on business. Jim Leavitt and sister, Mrs. Hal Bracken were in from Nelson, Nev. Saturday for a short visit. Mrs. Leah Bucholz left for her home in Salt Lake City Friday after a short visit here with relatives. rela-tives. The Catherine Bunker camp of the D.U.P. met last Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Isa-bell Isa-bell Jones. After the lesson on "Early Pioneer Industries", given by Isabel! Jones, a delicious lunch was. served by the hostess. Mrs. Nellie Bracken of Gunlock was visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Bowler several days last week. |
