Show Santa Clara Reporter Miss Laura Gubler The M. I. A. started its winter's work Sunday night with Leo Reber as president, Crayton Leav-itt Leav-itt and Dale Tobler as counselors in the Y.M. M. I. A., and Mrs. Frank Reber president and Mrs. Sylvan Graff and Mrs. E. C. Gates as counselors in the Y. W. i M. I. A. Mae Gubler was honored with a shower at the home of Mrs. Norman Gubler Thursday afternoon. after-noon. Sunday afternoon Miss Gubler was hostess at a trous seau tea held at her home. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ence and children and Mrs. Thomas Bladen and children from Cedar City were visitors here Sunday with relatives and friends. Helen Gubler came in from the northwestern states Thursday where she has been traveling. She plans to spend a week here with her mother, Mrs. Anna Gubler. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Graff left Saturday for Parowan where Mr. Graff is teaching school this winter. win-ter. Ether Stucki and family left for Cedar City where Mr. Stucki will continue teaching school this winter. Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Graff spent a week at Los Angeles. Afton Knight left last week for Good Springs where he is working. |
