Show Vacancies Listed By U. S. Army Officials Information has just been received re-ceived by the U. S. Army Recruiting Recruit-ing office, Salt Lake City, that applicants ap-plicants who are qualified to fill the vacancies listed below should be encouraged to enlist for the Quartermaster Corps at Large, Fort Lewis, Washington: Clerk-typists, 11; warehousemen, warehouse-men, 17; storekeepers, hardware or utilties, 4; gas station attendants, attend-ants, 3; bakers, 2; bookkeepers, 2; assistant to utilities officer with general knowledge of construction, 1; carpenters, 4; refrigeration and gas range mechanic, 1; typewriter repair man, 1; electricians, 2; painters, 3; plumbers, 4; sheet metal woker, 1; steamfitter, 1; with a high school education or its equivalent, 8. The commanding general. Fort Lewis, has advised this headquarters headquart-ers that a limited but reasonable number of grades and ratings are being reserved for qualified men. From the foregoing, it will be seen that men of experience in almost every walk of life will find opportunity in the Quartermaster Corps. Further information may be received by applying to the U. S.
