Show Short Creek, Ariz. Mrs. I. W. Carling Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Adair, Pat and Blanche Lauritzen, Naomi Carling, Leon Cochran and George Black attended the Rodeo at St. George Saturday evening. School started Monday morning morn-ing with Chas. F. Hansen and Miss Scudder as teachers. Mrs. La Verne Pointer and children have moved to Fredonia so the children can attend high school. Marvin and Sherling Black are attending high school at Fredonia. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Jessop and children and Mrs. Lydia Spencer of Glendale were visiting relatives rela-tives here on Sunday. May Johnson returned home Sunday after spending some time at Glendale working. Mrs. Jack Fish was operated on at Iron County hospital last week. Patricia and McLoyd Lauritzen left Monday for St. George to go to school. Blanche Lauritzen went to keep house for them. James N. Cox has gone to Salt Lake City to visit relatives and to work. The recent storms washed the road out so badly between here and Fredonia that the mail was delaved for two days. |
