Show New Harmony ! M. Hammond Reporter A number of our townsfolk drove to Washington Wednesday to attend at-tend the funeral services of Edward Ed-ward Iverson. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Naylor left the fore part of the week for Salt Lake City. Albert Mathis was a business visitor in Cedar City Friday. The small son of Mr. and Mrs. Cannon Huntsman was taken to Cedar City Thursday for the removal re-moval of his tonsils. The citizens of New Harmony assembled at the church building Wednesday for the purpose of selecting a mayor and other city officers. Visitors at our sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday were: stake genealogical genea-logical officers from Parowan; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Prince of St. George, ordinance workers at the Temple, Luellia Dalton of Parowan Paro-wan and Elida Prince were the speakers. The weather is unusually warm for October. Farmers were busy last week threshing their lucerne seed. Mrs. Melva Miller of Cedar Valley is visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mathis. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pearce took their infant daughter to Cedar City Monday for medical treatment. |
