Show Lion District Governor Guest Speaker At Lions Meet Thursday J. L. Hyatt, district governor of District No. 28, Utah Lions International, In-ternational, was the guest speaker at the regular meeting of the club last Thursday evening. Opening his remarks, Mr. Hyatt said, "In my 12 years of work in Lions clubs I have never seen as good a job of Lion Taming as is being done by Lion, Dick Hammer". Ham-mer". He, then, told of the wonderful won-derful organization of the Lions, the number of clubs and the service that they are doing throughout the world. He also commended past president, Rulon Snow, who is zone chairman of the southwest Utah district, for the good work he is doing, especially in inter-club relations. Program numbers were a vocal duet by Mrs. Wm E. Baker and Mrs. Earl Cannon, accompanied by Mrs. Mae A. Pace; tap dancing by the Misses Ruby Seegmiller and Evelyn Nelson, accompanied by Le Roy Holt. At the close of the meeting Mr. Hyatt met with the officers in a business session. Leonas Entertain The Leonas met separately and entertained Mrs. Hyatt, who spoke briefly. Special guests included in-cluded Mrs. Bertha McGregor, Mrs. Mae Pace, Mrs. Bonnie Jenson, Stella Sanger and Ethel Hail.
