Show News of the County Seat j The pageant. "The Hearts of 1 the Children", was presented M'on- day to a ciowded house. Many' were unable to get in who had come to attend it so it will be presented again next Sunday evening even-ing at 8:00. No admission will, be charged but those wishing to contribute at the close of the pageant may do so and the1 money will go to the South ward 1 chapel fund. (They were accompanied back to Los Angeles by Mrs. Sorenson who has been here with her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Hafen since the fore part cf December. Miss Helen Hafen. who has been bedfast since and automobile accident the j fore part of December is getting along nicely but it has been found necessary ifor her to remain in bed for at least two more months. Mrs. J. S. Gillen and Edward Hunt, who spent the week-end visiting at the home of their parents, Mr. anr M'rs. Isaac Hunt, returned to their homes in California. Calif-ornia. They were accompanied by heir father who will spend two or three weeks there visiting with them and 'his other children who reside there. Mr. and Mrs. A. Jones of Rock-ville Rock-ville and Mrs Katherine Larson of Hurricane spent Sunday visiting visit-ing with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Miles. Mrs. A. Y. Milne left Monday morning for Cedar City where she will spend several days visiting visit-ing M r s . Famie Nelson returned Tuesday morning from Boulder City where she spent the weekend week-end visiting her son Rex Nelson and family. Mr. and Mrs. William McMullin of Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Carl M'athis, and Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Madsen spent Sunday at Boulder Dam. E. W. Simmons, Clair Morris, Oliver Stratton, and Clyde Graff spent (Sunday fishing near. St. Thomas, Nevada. Mrs. Finley Judd land small daughter, Jane spent Wednesday visiting Mrs. Althea. Nelson. C. H. Huntington, manager of the local Penney store returned Wednesday morning from Salt Lake City and Provo where he attended a district convention of the Penney stores. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Higbee have been visiting in Las Vegas and Boulder City, Nevada the past week. Mrs. Jena Snow returned Mon- : day from Salt Lake City where she spent several days visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Snow and ether relatives. 1 Dudley Leavitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Leavitt of Bunker- ville, and a brother of Mrs. William Wil-liam Brooks of this city has been honorab'.y released from his mis-1 sion in England. He is making a tour of some larger cities of ' Europe before returning to his home. Kay Goff left Tuesday for ' Minersville to spend some time with relatives. j Mrs. Lizzie Lamb entertained ; eight members of the Saturday 1 night bridge club a her home 1 last week. High score prize -was awarded Miss Mishie Seegmiller and second prize to Mrs. M'arge Vance. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph D. Odell of Salt Lake City are guests of Mr. land .Mrs. Ralph Coals here this week. ' Word has been received here that Mr. and Mrs. Leon Jensen of Neola who spent the past month in a hospial at Roosevelt recovering from serious burns received re-ceived when an explosion occurred at their home have been able to be removed home. Mrs. Jensen is still quite ill and her sisters, Mrs. Llyod Jennings and Mrs. Turnbeaugh of this city are still with her. Dan Graham of the News office of-fice returned Tuesday evening, after af-ter spending several days in Los Angeles on business. Judge and Mrs. J. W.
