Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS State Engineers' Office, Salt Lake City, Utah, February 6, 1937. Notice is hereby given that United States Forest Service, Cedar City, Utah, has made application appli-cation In accordance with the laws of Utah to appropriate 1 sec. ft. and 55 ac. ft. of water from Pine Valley creek, tributary of Santa Clara river in Washington Washing-ton County, Utah. It Is proposed to make a reservoir reser-voir on the natural channel of eaid stream by means of an impounding im-pounding diam 30 ft. high to be constructed at a point which bears S 67 29' E 3596.8 ft. from NW Cor. Sec. 24, T 39 S, R 15 W, S. L. B. & M. The reservoir will be initially filled during the high-water high-water season to its capacity of 55 ac. ft. and used for fish rearing rear-ing and public recreation purposes. Once the reservoir is filled, a continuous con-tinuous flow of 1 sec. ft. of water during each entire year is sought to be appropriated for the purpose pur-pose of running through the reservoir, res-ervoir, being returned to the natural stream at the spillway which bears N 59 45' E 210 ft. from the center of the impounding impound-ing dam hereinbefore described. The natural flow of Pine Valley creek, which is not otherwise appropriated ap-propriated or diverted, will likewise like-wise flow through the reservoir and over the spillway. This application is designated In the State Engineer's Office as File No. 11938. All protests against the granting grant-ing of said application, stating the reasons therefor, shall be submitted sub-mitted In affidavit form and in duplicate, accompanied by a fee of $1.00 and filed in this office within 30 days after the completion comple-tion of the publication of this notice.
