Show FINE PROGRAM FOR nil OPENING DM One of the biggest celebrations ever ev-er held in Washington county is what the committee aims to make of the new road and bridge celebration at the Ash Creek bridge, on Friday, September 11, starting at 2 o'clock p. m. This road and bridge means much to Washington county as it cuts out a very dangerous dugway along Ash creek which had many blind curves and risky turns. Sentiment too cuts a figure in the celebration for the reason that the government engineers went back to the original Mormon road on which to make the new road as they are doing in many other places, which is a tribute to the good sound common sense of the har dy pioneers. The committee appointed by the St. George Commercial club, Henry T. Atkin, Walter Cannon. Leo A. Snow, John M. Higgins and John. R. Wallis, went to Toquerville Monday and there met with the committees from Hurricane Commercial club, Zion Park club and Toquerville Commercial Commer-cial club, the whole forming a general committee for the celebration.
