Show JOHN R. CONGER BURIED Leonard S. Conger returned last Saturday from Las Vegas, Nevada, where he went upon learning that his brother, John R. Conger had been found dead. From Len S. He was cooking a meal when stricken, stric-ken, as a bird partly cooked was on the stove and other preparations made for eating. An inquest was held, the verdict being that he came to his heath by natural causes. Judge Breeze of Las Vegas took charge of the burial, which was in Woodlawn cemetary, Las Vegas. The mine where Conger met death is 18 miles from Las Vegas. , John R. Conger was born in San Bernardino, California, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard S. Conger, and was 55 years of age when he died. His father, Leonard S. Conger carried car-ried the first mail from Salt Lake City to San Bernardino, California in 18 51, and was a well known frontiersman. fron-tiersman. , |
