Evans Brown, the artist who will appear on the second night of Chautauqua Chau-tauqua Festival, is an extraordinary combination of accomplished musician and clever magician who gives a program of unique variety. A harp recital, occupying one of the three parts of the program, will appeal generously to the public as everyone loves harp music. With the sensitive, lightning fingers of the professional magician, Mr. Brown sweeps the strings of his beautiful, specially built instrument compelling admiration. As an accordionist this versatile a"t::-;t.,has aji enviable, reputation. An instrument fashioned after his personal design for this act he calls a piano-accordian. piano-accordian. He plays overtures from leading operas on it with wonderful results, while popular and light numbers receive regular ovations from his audiences. "The Magic of the Orient," occupying the second part of the program gives this artist opportunity to display some of his unique and fascinating originations in this line.
