Show SANTA CLARA Santa Clara, May 5. Mrs. Kather-ine Kather-ine Laub passed away at her home about 1:30 p. m. Tuesday, May 5 1925, of Bright's disease, from which she has suffered considerably the past six months. The past four months she has been seriously ill. Funeral services will be held tomorrow The sympathy of the whole community goes out to the bereaved family of this dear mother. A full account will be given next week. Last Friday evening the Mutual and Primary, combined, gave an interesting interest-ing entertainment representing the month of May. The hall was beautifully beauti-fully decorated with flowers and green trees. The children were tastefully dressed in pink and green paper to harmonize . with the decorations There was a large attendance. After Af-ter the entertainment there was a dance for the children. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Reber, Mr and Mrs. John M. Stucki spent last Sunday at Washington with their brother, Frank Staheli and family. Mrs. Frank Reber of Hurricane who has recently been operated on for poisonous goiter is here visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Sam-uel Wittwer. Last Tuesday evening the seventh and eighth grades of the Woodward slchool were given a dance here by their teachers Vivian Frei and Le-land Le-land Hafen. Mrs. Arch Gubler and children spent several days last week in St. George with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benj. Blake. Mrs. Walter Cottam and children of Provo are here to spend the summer sum-mer with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Frei. Miss Helen Gubler left last week for Philadelphia, after which she will continue her work for the Curtis Co. Harmon Gubler, Jr., and family have moved down from their homestead home-stead to spend the summer here. Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Leavitt. and j daughters Fay and Vivian went to Bunkerville last Saturday. Eugene Fordham was here last week visiting with his mother, Mrs. George Staheli. Born, a son to Mr. and Mrs. Wil-ford Wil-ford Knight, April 29; all concerned doing nicely. Edmund Gubler and Preston Hafen have gone to the Pine Valley mountain moun-tain to put in crops.
