Show TREES PLANTED AT CEMETERY AND ONSJREETS One Hundred Twenty - Five Dollar Appropriatioa by C. of C, Auxiliary Pays for Burial Ground Parking Beautification of the streets and public grounds in St. George is under way in earnest now, with a concerted effort being made by citizens in uprooting old cotton-wood cotton-wood trees, and replacing them with trees recommended by the city shade tree commission. The highway from the east end of town to the court house has been planted with honey locust lo-cust trees, and many of the old trees along Diagonal street have been removed. Honey . locusts for this project are furnished free of charge by the city, and may be obtained from Walter F. Smith, county agent. Judge Le-Rby Le-Rby H. Cox has Siberian elm trees available for people living on those streets on which this tree is to be planted, and native ash and non-bearing mulberry may be had from Karl E. Ford-ham. Ford-ham. The price of the ash is 15 cents and the mulberry 7 3 cents. The ladies' auxiliary of the chamber of commerce has given approximately $125 toward the beautification of the city cemetery. ceme-tery.
