Show WASHINGTON The M. I. A. entertained the towns people at a delightful luncheon program and dance Tuesday evening. November 2S. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hall and family returned home last week from Idaho where they have spent the past few months. Carma Staheli spent the week end visiting relatives at St. George. Pearl Milne is here from Cedar City visiting relatives. Austin Iverson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Iverson is confined home from school with the yellow yel-low jandass. The Washington basketball team gave a dance here Wednesday Wednes-day night. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dewey left last week for Deweyvile where they will visit for an indefinite in-definite time. The turkey growers of this locality was very much disapoint-ed disapoint-ed at the Thanksgiving price for turkeys altho a large number was shipped at the price of 13? first and 9c dressed for second grade. "Justa-Mere club" was held a; the home of Carma Staheli Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Lafell Iverson were visitors here Sunday. The play "An old Fashioned Mother" will be presented here Friday and Saturday night under the direction of Principal Laron AndrewiS, for the benefit of the M. I. A. Born, a son to Mr. and Mrs. Antone Neilson Tuesday, December Decem-ber 5. Fay Iverson and Billie Gould were Sunday visitors with their families from Hurricane where they have employment. Woodrow Staheli returned Sunday from Salt Lake with a truck full of C. C. C. boys who spent Thanksgiving holidays there with relatives and friends. The M Men entertained the Gleanor and Junior Girls at a delightful de-lightful party Tuesday evening. |
