Show KOCKVILLE Because of the recent re-organization of the ward Bishopric, Bishop-ric, changes had to be made in other organizations. The Sunday school was re-organized. Marvin Terry, superintendent; Guy De Mille, first assistant and Afton Ballard, second assistant were re-' re-' leased and the folowing appointed appoint-ed in their place. The Primary Association held their annual ward conference here Sunday with Superintendent Annie Ballard in charge. The dramatization of the story of Naaman the Leper was the main feature of the Faith promoting program given. All the numbers on the program were well given, showing careful preparation. The officers and teachers are to be commended for their splendid work. Sunday school ward conference was held here Sunday morning with Marvin Terry in charge. A review of the past year's progress pro-gress was given and an interesting interest-ing program followed. Each class added its contribution to the success of the conference. Regret Re-gret was expressed at the resignation resig-nation of Superintendent Terry who has been an efficient and tireless worker in that position for several years. LaFell Iver-son Iver-son and Miss Gubler of LaVerkin represented the Stake Board at the conference. Mrs. George Hirschi entertained entertain-ed a party of ten ladies, Thursday Thurs-day afternoon, the time was spent in sewing. Karl Larson of Huricane was a visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Jones, Tuesday. Mrs. Verna Schmutz of New Harmony was a visitor in town, Tuesday. Mrs. Leo Hirschi, Mrs. Perry DeMille and Mrs. David Dennett attended the Primary conference in Springdale, Sunday evening. A number of friends pleasantly surprised Mrs. Irving Dalton, Thursday afternoon. Games were played and a buffet luncheon was served. . I Mrs. Alton Jones has been quite sick for the past few days. Mr. and Mrs. Earle Lawrence of Cedar City spent the past week here visiting with relatives. Caroline, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Stucki has been quite sick for the past two weeks. A small boy playing with matches started a fire in the stack yard of Arthur Terry. A large straw stack was completely burned and some damage to fences. fenc-es. The damage was not estimated. Boyd Dennett of Gunlock, spent the week-end visiting his mother, Mrs. John Dennett.- She accompanied him on his return home and will visit there a few days. . Mr. and Mrs. Ira Millett are home again after a short visit in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Leonard Isom, primary stake officer was in attendance at the Primary Ward Conference held here Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Arch Ballard and Arch, Jr.. Grafton spent the past week visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Afton Ballard. The Red Cross membership drive was very successful, going "over the top" without difficulty. The Relief Society furnished an evening of merriment Friday with a program of music and one-act plays. Oliver DeMille of Hurricane was a visitor here Monday. ITebcir Hirschi is home after a week's absence on the Big Plain. Miss Mae Dalton is home from Ced:ir City where she has spent the pant two weeks. The children of Mr. and Mrs. Newel DeMille are quite sick with whooping cough. J. Miller and L. Mulchings of Ordeiville spent Sunday here. Mrs. Letitia Henderson and Miss Mae Dalton accompanied them to St. George Sunday evening. There is quite a lot of sickness among the children In town. About fifteen persons from here spent Friday working in the J temple at St. George. LeGrande Angell is a visitor I here from Leeds. . Mrs. Ira Millett returned Sunday Sun-day from a short visit, in Salt Lake City. All the young people who are attending school away from home came in for Thanksgiving, they returned to their various schools Sunday. Mrs. Edward Jones is home from a mnTlth'a visit-, with her daughter in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Arch Ballard left Wednesday Wed-nesday to visit with relatives in Provo and Sandy. David Ballard came in from Cane Beds to spend Thanksgiving. Thanksgiv-ing. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Worthcn spent the week-end visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jones. They returned to their homo in M.lnersville Sunday. Gordon Jones is home from a two months visit in Los Angeles. California. George Hirschi, Glenn Hirschi and Mrs. Mary n. Hirschi spent Saturday In Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Erwin and Miss Augusta Jennings made n business trip to Cedar City Saturday. Mrs. Alton Jones in visiting with relatives In St. George.
