Show WOODWARD SCHOOL NOTES A reading contest has been held in Miss Harmon's first grade. One hundred eighty-two books were ! read. The winning students were : i Stafford Sno, 36 books; Fayone Seegmiller, 25 books; Loa Moss, 17; Ronald McArthur, " 14; Caroline ; Cottam, 11; H. T. Pace, 10; Lor-! Lor-! raine Woodbury, 10; Ralph Hafen, l 7, and Kent Hansen, 6. ' D. H. Morris talked to Mr. Snow's seventh grade this week, giving an interesting account of his trip through the Panama canal ca-nal to Cuba and across the United States. Sixth Grade. In our geography class 'we are studying about the Iberian peninsula. penin-sula. In order to know facts that were not stated in our books we asked Louis Christian, who has traveled there, to come to our room and tell us about it. We invited in-vited the other sixth grade in also. His main subject was of the schools of Spain and Portugal. He described the dress of the natives, which is similar to ours, except that over their clothes they wear white aprons.
